Delta El Nile Hosts Nestlé Global and Regional Procurement

New Salhiya City, Egypt — August 2026

Delta El Nile for Industry was pleased to welcome Mr. Nicolas, Global Procurement Manager at Nestlé, together with Mr. Motaz, Middle East Manager, and team members Mina and Ahmed, for a plant visit to New Salhiya City — in a partnership that has supplied Nestlé for more than fifteen years. Brand names are shown for reference under approved supplier programmes.

The visit was not an introduction. It was a continuation of an established programme: global and regional procurement, together with the plant, on the same brief. Discussions covered quality systems, manufacturing capability, technical requirements, supply performance and continuous improvement — the practical questions that decide whether a packaging programme holds in the market, not only on a specification sheet.

Delta El Nile is a family-owned, owner-led PET packaging manufacturer, established in 1996. From an integrated platform in New Salhiya City, the company produces PET preforms and caps & closures for beverage, dairy, edible-oil, food and FMCG brands across Egypt, MENA, the GCC and African export markets, with current capacity of 450M+ PET preforms and 360M+ closures per month across 12 dedicated closure lines. A new SACMI CCM 80SB compression line — 80 cavities, producing up to 240,000 pieces per hour — is planned to lift monthly closure capacity to 500M+ pieces from 2027.

At Delta El Nile, customer visits are treated as working sessions. They are a chance to exchange perspectives, understand expectations more clearly, and identify where the package system — preform, neck finish, closure and supply — can still create more value together. Dialogue with Nestlé's global and regional procurement team is particularly valuable because it connects international standards with regional manufacturing and export supply.

We thank Mr. Nicolas, Mr. Motaz, Mina and Ahmed for the time they gave our team, for the directness of the conversation, and for the professional standards they brought to every part of the visit. Strong partnerships are built through transparency, technical collaboration, consistent quality, reliable supply and continuous improvement.

Delta El Nile for Industry looks forward to welcoming the Nestlé team again
