Precision injection lines, IMD 6-camera inspection — every closure, in-line.
Delta El Nile for Industry's closure production runs on advanced injection lines and precision molds, integrated with IMD 6-camera inspection systems for real-time quality control. Each closure is checked across multiple critical points before it leaves the line — helping detect contamination, deformation, color variation, surface defects, thread issues, tamper-band defects, sealing-area abnormalities, and pinholes.
Combining this in-line inspection with advanced injection platforms, Delta El Nile for Industry delivers the closure quality required by PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Danone, and Henkel — with reject rates, cavity-to-cavity consistency, and per-shift QC documentation that pass FSSC 22000 V6 third-party audit.

Anatomy of a PE closure
Tap any part to see what it does — from the top panel to the tamper-evident band, and the sealing system that holds CO₂ pressure.
Top panel
The closed top of the cap. Its thickness and any embossing set top-load strength and how cleanly the cap feeds through capping heads.
Thread & neck compatibility checker
Pick a preform neck finish and a closure to instantly check whether they thread together.
Compatibility is matched by neck finish. Final fit is confirmed by Delta engineering — neck-finish drawings (ISBT / GME standard) available on request.

Caps, preforms, and PET bottles produced on the same integrated platform — sourcing simplicity for brand and procurement teams.
Questions procurement teams ask us most.
Yes — all closure formats are engineered to standard neck finishes used across the global beverage and FMCG industries. PCO 1881 closures fit any standard PCO 1881 preform/bottle from any supplier. 29/25 water closures are interchangeable. 32/15 juice & milk closures meet the standard. The benefit of sourcing from Delta El Nile for Industry is that our closures are validated against our preforms, but they remain compatible with mixed-supplier setups.
1-piece (1.5g): a flip-top closure for direct-pour edible oil applications. Single-shot moulding, lower cost, suited for standard fill speeds. 2-piece (3.65g, HDPE): a tamper-evident two-component closure with a more secure seal and better drip control. The 2-piece is preferred when premium presentation, anti-counterfeiting, or controlled pour are priorities.
Yes — the 32/15 (juice & milk) and 38 mm (wide-mouth dairy/juice/specialty) closures are validated for cold fill, standard fill, and aseptic fill applications. The Material flow during injection moulding and the resin certification trail support the migration testing requirements for aseptic packaging. Customers using HTST or UHT processes have validated our 32/15 and 38 mm closures in production.
Most Delta El Nile for Industry closures are manufactured from food-grade HDPE — 29/25 water, PCO 1881 CSD, 32/15 juice & milk, 38 mm dairy (aseptic), 37 mm press-on, 48 mm water (incl. handle), 1-piece 29/21 edible oil. The 55 mm 5-gallon standard and foam-liner closures use LDPE. The 2-piece 29/21 oil closure uses HDPE for the main body and LDPE for the inner sealing component. The 55 mm Lid (can-lid format) uses PP. Material selection depends on the closure format, sealing function, and application requirements. All resins are FDA / EFSA food-contact compliant.
Closure specification, quality & sourcing questions
Delta El Nile for Industry produces 12 closure SKUs covering: PCO 1881 (28mm short, CSD + water), PCO 1810 (28mm tall, water + sports), 29/25 (29mm water, standard + lightweight LW versions), 32/15 (33mm juice + ESL dairy, food-grade), 29/21 1-piece and 2-piece (edible oil), 37mm press-on (vending water), 38mm (vending), 42/36 (large edible oil), 48mm standard and handle versions, and 55mm with foam liner for jars. All closures are produced on advanced injection lines with precision molds and 6-camera IMD inspection.
Capper torque reference per SKU family (ISBT / Bevcap standards): PCO 1881 = 14-22 in-lbs, PCO 1810 = 16-26 in-lbs, 29/25 = 10-18 in-lbs, 29/25 LW lightweight = 8-14 in-lbs, 32/15 juice/dairy = 8-14 in-lbs, 29/21 oil 1-piece = 10-18 in-lbs, 38mm = 12-20 in-lbs, 42/36 = 15-25 in-lbs, 37mm press-on = pull-off greater than 30 N. For hot-climate water markets (Egypt/GCC), Delta engineering recommends targeting the MID of the window, not the upper bound, to avoid environmental stress cracking in storage above 45 degrees Celsius.
Delta El Nile for Industry's closure production includes 6-camera in-mold defect (IMD) inspection covering 8 defect categories across 6 inspection stations: STATION 01 contamination, STATION 02 deformation/ovality, STATION 03 color drift (Delta E), STATION 04 tamper-evidence band defects, STATION 05 sealing surface defects (scratches, sink marks), STATION 06 pinhole detection, plus geometric checks for height/OD/weight and thread completion. IMD is scoped to CLOSURES ONLY — preform inspection uses different methods (dimensional gauging, visual lot sampling). Reject rate logging is per-station and available on CoA.
Yes. Delta El Nile for Industry launched a free AI Closure Defect Diagnostic Manual covering 38 capper-machine and closure-manufacturing defects with cross-component root-cause analysis: cocked application, cross-threading, over/insufficient torque, premature TE break, chuck damage, application angle deviation (greater than 2 degrees), CO2 retention failure isolation flow (closure vs preform vs capper), chuck size mismatch, chuck liner wear, grip force calibration, spindle bearing wear, head-to-head torque variation on multi-head cappers, magnetic clutch calibration drift, bottle starwheel centering, chuck thermal distortion, lubrication failure, removal torque variation between bottles, and hot-climate stress cracking specific to Egypt/GCC water markets. Available trilingual EN/AR/FR from defect-lookup.html.
Yes. All Delta El Nile for Industry closures destined for food and beverage applications are manufactured under FSSC 22000 V6 certified processes with food-grade HDPE / PP resins compliant with FDA 21 CFR §177.1520 (PE and PP), and EU 10/2011 for migration limits. Certificates of Analysis with each lot include resin grade, supplier, IMD reject rate per station, dimensional check results, and migration test compliance. Audit-ready documentation available for FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS, and SQF customer audits.
Yes. Delta El Nile for Industry is open to co-developing new closure designs with partners — lightweighting projects, sustainability redesigns (mono-material HDPE/PP designs for recycle-stream compatibility), custom liner specifications, new neck-finish geometries, and entirely new applications. The integrated platform (closure injection with IMD + R&D lab + engineering team) supports the full development cycle from concept to validated commercial production. Current development collaborations include detergent closures with Henkel.
Delta El Nile for Industry operates one of Egypt's largest plastic cap factories in New Salhiya City. The PE closure manufacture facility produces 360 million plastic caps per month across 12 injection molding lines, serving 25+ export markets in Africa and the Middle East.
Most closures use food-grade HDPE — including 29/25 water, PCO 1881 CSD, 32/15 juice, 38 mm dairy (aseptic) and the 55 mm 5-gallon standard. The 2-piece 29/21 oil closure combines an HDPE body with an LDPE inner sealing component, and the 55 mm Lid (can-lid format) uses PP. All resins are FDA 21 CFR 177 and EU 10/2011 (EFSA) compliant.
Delta El Nile for Industry is a leading plastic closure manufacturer exporting HDPE and PP caps to Kenya, Ghana, Sudan, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia and Uganda — all FSSC 22000 V6 certified with hot-climate validation.
