Food-grade certified
Food-grade PET preforms, FSSC 22000 V6 from day one.
Every Delta El Nile for Industry PET preform — across all 54 production SKUs — is manufactured under FSSC 22000 Version 6, ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 quality programs. Aseptic-line ready, aseptic capable, full lot traceability from resin grade through to finished pallet. The food and beverage brands buying from Delta don't run separate food-safety audits because the certification chain is complete.
Why Delta El Nile for Industry
Food-safety is structural, not optional
FSSC 22000 V6 — the global retail standard
FSSC 22000 is the GFSI-recognized food-safety standard required by virtually every global retailer for packaging suppliers. V6 (current) added stricter HACCP, allergen-management and food-defense clauses. Delta has held this certificate continuously and re-audits annually.
Resin traceability — grade to pallet
Every batch of finished preforms carries a traceback chain to the specific resin lot, the production shift, the machine cavity set, and the quality release signature. If a brand owner reports an issue, Delta can quarantine and recall by lot within hours, not days.
Aseptic-line and aseptic ready
Our juice and dairy preforms (32/15 and 38mm) are validated for aseptic (cold-fill) filling lines including Tetra Pak and Sidel systems. We do not produce heat-set hot-fill preforms; for warm or hot-fill, customers validate their own fill temperature. Each preform's intended fill type is published on its detail page.
Halal, Kosher and BRC documentation on file
Beyond the core FSSC 22000 certificate, Delta maintains Halal certification (relevant to MENA markets), Kosher certification (relevant to export buyers serving Jewish dietary law markets), and BRC documentation for UK retail customers. Available on request.
Common questions
What's the difference between food-grade and food-contact?
Food-contact means the material is approved to touch food (FDA 21 CFR § 177.1630 covers PET specifically). Food-grade is a broader claim: the material is approved AND manufactured under food-safety quality programs (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000) that include HACCP, allergen control, environmental monitoring, and traceability. Delta's preforms meet both — every SKU.
Can you supply preforms for aseptic juice or ESL dairy?
Yes. Our 32/15 juice/milk preforms (5 SKUs spanning 11g to 32g) and 38mm dairy preforms are validated for aseptic filling on Tetra Pak A3, Sidel Aseptic and SIG combiblock lines. ESL (Extended Shelf Life) dairy formats are supported up to 28-day cold-chain shelf life. Filling-line validation reports available under NDA.
How quickly can you produce a Certificate of Analysis for a shipped lot?
Each shipped lot's CoA is generated automatically at QC release and emailed alongside the shipping documents within the same day. Re-issues of historical CoAs are available on request, including resin grade attestation, dimensional QC results, and microbiological clearance for food-contact lots.
Do you support rPET (recycled PET) for food-contact applications?
Yes — Delta supplies preforms with up to 100% post-consumer rPET content, using only EFSA / FDA-positive-listed recyclers. Each rPET program requires customer-specific qualification because food-contact rPET rules vary by destination market (EU is stricter than MENA on letter-of-non-objection requirements). See our rPET packaging program for the full program.
Ready for a food-safety audit?
Send us your audit checklist. Delta can typically close an FSSC 22000 audit cycle quickly — most of the certificate package is already on file.
