Food-grade closures must meet FDA and EFSA food-contact requirements and be made under a certified food-safety management system. Delta El Nile for Industry manufactures the full food-grade range: 32/15 juice caps, 38mm wide-mouth for juice and dairy, 55mm foam-liner for sauces and condiments, and 37mm press-on for baby food. All molded under HACCP-controlled conditions with full traceability from resin lot to shipped pallet.

What food-safety certification covers your closures?
Delta's closures are certified to ISO 22000:2018 by ABS Global, scoped to “manufacturing plastic packaging materials — PE closures”. Delta's FSSC 22000 V6 certificate (TÜV Austria Hellas) is scoped to PET preform injection and bottle blowing at the same site. FSSC 22000 is the GFSI-recognized scheme required by Tesco, Carrefour, Lidl, Walmart and most major retailers for primary packaging suppliers. Without it, you cannot enter their supply chains.
What food contact regulations do your closures comply with?
All food-grade closures use FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 (HDPE) / 177.1640 (PP) compliant resins and EFSA Regulation (EU) 10/2011 compliant additives. Migration testing on file; documents shipped with each order.
Can you supply closures for baby food and infant formula?
Yes. Our 37mm press-on and 38mm screw closures are produced on dedicated lines for infant-grade products with stricter migration limits per EU Directive 2006/141/EC. Certificate of analysis per lot.
